Maker of modern & baroque violas, violins & cellos.

My years of experience as restorer of old instruments and being a viola player myself make me much aware of the musician’s expectations with regard to both sound and comfort of playing.

I make a variety of sizes of viola ,as well as violins and an occasional cello.

Over the last twenty years I have come to specialise in small violas, though I also make instruments of just over 16 inches. My violas are played by keen amateurs and professional musicians, in leading orchestras and chamber groups.
