Subscription payments and renewals

Cost of membership

Annual membership is £20 for 12 months.

Students in full time education are eligible for the special rate of £10 for the first year of BVS membership.

Existing members should use the payment information below to renew their membership.

New members should first complete the Join Form to apply for membership. Once your payment has cleared we will send you a 'Welcome' email you with all your membership details.

If someone else is paying your fee on your behalf, please make sure that your name is clearly identified with the payment. Either make it clear on your application form or email the Membership Secretary.

We offer three payment options:

1. Annual Membership – £20 for a single year of BVS membership or  a 'Gift' membership.


2.Regular Subscriptions -  For regular payments, please arrange a standing order with your bank.


3. Student Subscriptions - 12 months at the discounted rate of £10 (Introductory rate for first year only).

For all these options please use one of the payment methods below.


Bank Transfer - to pay your 12 months membership fee by Bank Transfer you need to instruct your bank to make a payment of £20 (or £10 if you are eligible for the Student discount)  to:

Members paying in this way should email the Membership Secretary to inform him that their sub has been paid by bank transfer.

Please quote your bank's IBAN and your Bank Identifier Code (BIC), which is your account number and sort code written in a standard, internationally recognised format.

These help us to process your international payments automatically, making them faster, safer and cheaper.
